Superhero Birthday Party!

My oldest recently turned 7 {middle of June is recent right?} And he had been talking about having a Superhero themed party for about 6 months! I promised my husband I would keep it simple this year so we put together a little Superhero Sundae Bar, instead of our usual dessert table.
This balloon wreath is the wreath that keeps on giving!  I've used it so many times now! It's definately something I will keep around since it is so easy to change out.  {on a sidenote this project is one I constantly see getting repinned on Pinterest! Thanks for all the love!}

For the back drop I purchased some comic books from a used bookstore and taped them to poster board.

I am clearly not the best when it comes to decorating cookies but I gave it my best shot!  Those Williams Sonoma cookie cutters are not user friendly!

Clearly my cake making skills were as good as my cookie making skills!  Good news in the kids didn't care and it tasted yummy!

I purchased the printables from Tweet Events.  Carol was so great to work with!  Check out her shop for some adorable printables!

We purchased Marvel puzzles from the Dollar Store as favors.  Simple, easy and inexpensive!

And here is my little 7-year old superhero!  He had a fun afternoon swimming with his friends and eating ice cream!
