I was looking at my list of yummy treats I wanted to make for the holidays and realized it was so long! On a whim (and with some encouragement) I decided to challenge myself and do a 12 days of baking series.
Then reality gave me a slap in the face and I woke up realizing I couldn't bake 12 straight days in a row!
So I decided to do the "12 days of Christmas treats."
The first few days will be fun and classic no-bake treats perfect for toddlers and preschoolers to help out with!
First up are Holiday Pretzel Treats.
Like the directions say they are the perfect combination of salty and sweet!
Only 3 ingredients are needed.
Pretzels (is used regular tiny twists)
Hershey's hugs and/or kisses
M&M's
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
Lay the pretzels flat on parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
Top each pretzel with a hug or kiss.
Put in the oven for 6-7 minutes until the chocolate is soft but not quite melted.
Remove from the oven and top with an M&M.
Chill in the fridge for approximately 10 minutes.
I'm planning on collecting this weeks treats to drop off in the administration office at my daughters Montessori school on Friday so I packaged some up with a cute little tag (from The TomKat Studio of course)!
